What the calculators do with your numbers

Every calculator on this site runs in your browser. The values you type (a slab size, a room area, a wire length) are used on your device to show the result and are not sent to our server. We do not store them.

Server logs

Like any website, our server records the pages requested, the time, the browser type and the IP address, to keep the site running and to spot abuse. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you.

Advertising

The site may show advertising served by Google AdSense. When ads are shown, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can read how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and control personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. Where the law requires it, a consent choice is shown before any advertising cookie is set.

What we do not do

We do not ask for an account, an email address or a phone number to use the site. We do not sell your details.

Your rights

Write to hello@thecostledger.com for any question about your data, including a request to access or delete what the server logs may hold about you.
